I wrote the Apophysis User Manual here: http://www.acm.uiuc.edu/~troys2/ApophysisUserManual/ And I also made the video "What is a Fractal" here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3YvheUKSEg Cheers! Title: Re: Howdy! Post by: mclarekin on August 12, 2013, 09:36:18 AM Howdy back and welcome. Thanks for your import with apophysis, it was my favourite software until I got side-tracked by this 3D. If I had more spare time I would still use Apophysis as I have only just scratched the surface of the possibilities. I still use apophysis images as backgrounds in Mandelbulber. :) :)
Title: Re: Howdy! Post by: SPACEY on August 19, 2013, 03:22:11 AM Hey tararoys. I messed around with Apophsis awhile back and could swear I had animation capability. I recently installed it to find that there was neccessary to code a plugin to create the animation. what's the real deal on that?

And I also made the video "What is a Fractal".... Greetings, and welcome to this particular forum !!! :D Always nice to have good documentation and ways of explain concepts to those wishing to learn and understand more. As to trying to earn a living with fractals, that is something hundreds or thousands of people have tried to do for many decades now. Few have even come close, in fact, only a handful have even made a decent profit from fractals, but not enough to really support them (they usually earn their main income doing something else). |
