Title: Fractal symposium Post by: David Makin on August 03, 2013, 07:46:51 PM International Fractal Art Symposium 2014
Exciting news! A fractal artist meeting has been planned for June of 2014 to be held in San Sebastian, Spain and you are invited! The venues for this 3 day event have already been booked and invitations are going out to the fractal artist world abroad. This is a chance to meet and vacation with other fractal artists while also sharing in a day of lectures to learn more about fractal artistry, the history of fractal art and the tools we use. For more detail, please visit http://www.MathArtistry.com (http://www.MathArtistry.com) and don't miss your chance to register. Title: Re: Fractal symposium Post by: cKleinhuis on August 03, 2013, 08:25:58 PM nice, i am looking forward to it, and will look to attend there as well, would be nice to meet all the fanatics in one place :D
Title: Re: Fractal symposium Post by: JoeFRAQ on August 03, 2013, 10:21:14 PM This *IS* exciting news! I will be making the trip from FL, USA and I have already registered. I can't wait to see the participation list grow.
Title: Re: Fractal symposium Post by: JoeFRAQ on August 07, 2013, 01:45:24 PM The participation list is growing. I am really hoping that some of the Mandelbulb3D artist here sign up and join us.
Title: Re: Fractal symposium Post by: Roquen on August 07, 2013, 02:30:56 PM For what it's worth: the area around San Sebastian is a very nice place to visit and it arguably has the best tapas on planet. The old town part is pretty much pedestrian only with a bagillon bars, cafes, restos and places to stay.
Title: Re: Fractal symposium Post by: bib on August 15, 2013, 06:36:28 PM I have registered. Happy to meet fellow fractalists  :)
Title: Re: Fractal symposium Post by: Sitting Duck on August 15, 2013, 09:00:53 PM Would be fun and interesting to attend. A bit early to decide now and I suspect there will be no openings left when I know if I can. :)
Title: Re: Fractal symposium Post by: JoeFRAQ on August 19, 2013, 09:25:58 PM We have updated our planned program to include a presentation on Mandelbulb3D by Jeremie Brunet (bib). He will be doing a live demonstration on basic & advanced features including how to make 3D prints through voxel export. A great addition to an already awesome set of presentations.

Title: Re: Fractal symposium Post by: simon.snake on April 10, 2014, 01:51:04 PM I would include a CAPTCHA on the form to ensure humans are filling in their details, as a few of the names on the list are a bit suspect: john HdvPlLRskbvn Angel jjifSwbHSnUd Julian KBNjfJmaVWaXHLMi Adrian yDNwtaeyrzvuQDOY Payton nSJazmTSMipPAc Zoe JAIApakOBbxqlEX Jose htGfYLSPrPkw Sofia KiITtDclOWx Stephanie jkpbWFlXSEsZ Dghonson oyMjYFnWhMevR Nevaeh BTGxGpweDrXFBGtEao If those names are to be dropped it would suggest your current list of interested parties will be getting a whole lot smaller. I would love to come, but I don't think I could persuade the wife to journey with me (we'd stay in our van which doubles up as a camper). |
