awesome color setup!
always when i look at these spirals, i imagine a rotating wheel, it is looking very dynamical

said that, and the recent tryouts from another member to create an animation from different locations in the m-set, i wonder if it would be possible
to create a rotating wheel animation made up of carefully selected different orientations of such wheel in the mset :D haha, crazy idea i know

but it seems that although it is looking very dynamical it would be really hard to achieve such a rotating with just formula editing ... :(

Thanks! Yes, it would be difficult, and sort of "fake". Getting a good framerate would be particularly hard as the natural granularity of the twisting is one full seahorse-segment of the outer arms...
