Well the title says it all. I'm curious if there are any Mandelbulb 3D experts in the Los Angeles area. Can't really go into to much detail at this point but I'm looking to sit down preferably in person with someone who's had a lot of experience with this software and pick there brains on a few things. Edit: In another thread you said that you've been using M3D for a couple of months. I can't imagine what kind of in depth information you could get about just this program from anyone besides Jesse. Post by: Jhaptal on August 06, 2013, 11:45:02 PM While I agree you can learn the basics of this software and get some nice results quickly, the formulas and how they relate to each other could take years to properly explore and understand. I have close to fifteen minutes of animation and lighting tests done in the last few months and feel I know the software fairly well but the old adage "the more you learn the less you feel you know" comes to mind. The reason I wanted to talk to someone in person is that I think it's the most efficient way to communicate. I'm not ruling out maybe skyping or the like, but in person was my first preference. Los Angeles has a large pool of incredibly talented people and so I don't think it was too much of a stretch to hope to find some like minded people in this area. But, maybe not, in which case I'll consider another strategy. Thanks |
