Last frame has maximum iterations of 500'000, all pixels have iterations with more than 170'000 on the last frame. Rendered with higher resolution than I use to do, in 4.5 days on a 32-bit dualcore laptop. Fortunately, 60 trillion is actually fairly cheap to achieve with a rather remarkable optimization I've been testing, one which reduces the work for high-iteration areas near minibrots by a factor up to the minibrot's period ... which in this instance is nearly sixty thousand. |
