What a perfect replica, how did they do it? Papier maché? Amazing!

I got really moved when I saw this - it made my day! :)

Thank you Christian and the xochimilco university - a big smile is stuck on my face!  O0

I will see if I can do a small animation or something in return.

I just have to post a link to my image, so you can see how much work they have put into this sculpture:

They sure did, I am overwhelmed.
And Thank you Toxic, now this version of the image is "old" and not in the competition, and there are many who put a lot of work into doing a more realistic axolotl I actually hope someone else wins, I have a couple of other favorites in that section of the competition... ;)

And I already received my prize - this magnificent sculpture ^ ^ ^ !  :D

Cool thing. Looks like baloon;)

Axolotl realy are very strange and creepy creature, like some ancient thing, but it kind of reevolved back to first animals, who came to land

here are some single shots, i do not know how they did is as well, tomorrow i will meet the guys that made it, all i know by now is that they reconstructed it in a 3d modelling program, like 3dstudio max i think, the whole thing is produced by the robotics facility, they build as well cars/robots that are going to be used on the moon

That's why it is smooth. With voxel stack probably ...

Wow sounds like pure space technology indeed... would be very interesting to hear more about it Christian!
I hope everything else is going as planned for you over there...
This is just so crazy! So I had to do one more image for the axolotl gallery... O0
