While I was never fond of memorizing the multiplication tables, i use math every day, as do many of us, and have realized it is a form of language whose rules can be learned. I also really enjoy the beautiful shapes of fractals. I once had the opportunity to hear Benoit Mandelbrot speak and meet him afterwards, solidifying my fascination with fractals. I look forward to meeting new people and discovering new wonders here.
