Title: Semiconductor electrons in fractal patterns
Post by: Apophyster on April 14, 2013, 03:02:17 AM
This story is "trippy to the max", including the photo...
However it is from early 2010, so people here may already have seen "Electrons on the brink: Fractal patterns may be key to semiconductor magnetism":

Not that I get much of the content myself, but it's related to increasing hardware computer speed, and it intrigues me when I see "fractal" orientations to many problems the sciences (& industries) are seeking answers for.

Oh yeah... I found that link using a search engine I was not aware of formerly.
This is a link to "fractal" results sorted by date at the "Blekko" search site:

cheers. :)
