Title: B-Sides
Post by: Kali on February 22, 2013, 07:43:12 AM
For anyone interested, I decided to share a bunch of images I have stored in my HD and I never made public before. It's a collection made during my 2.5 years into the fractal world. Some of them are test images, but some are final works I wasn't too happy with the results.

So they are kind of "B-Sides", including some really weird stuff I can't even recall how I made them ;D

You'll find both 2D & 3D fractals, rendered with Ultrafractal, Mandelbulb3D and Fragmentarium. I uploaded them to a shared Dropbox folder.

Here is the link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ecx8s9s3u64hmt1/rKUzM1yxQV/B-Sides

Please let me know if you can't access the folder.

Many thanks for the comments... I really think some of the works deserved to be published, specially the one Johan pointed out. Looking at it I just don't know why I thought it was bad. Maybe I'll do a better quality remake of it using my last rendering techniques... if I found the formula file  :D  Anyway I think it's a KIFS combined with complex power of the x-y plane, or something like that.

be sure to keep something for the contest ;)
dont be shy to combine it with a cloudy background, a sunny sun, some birds or global illumination :D

You're such a good artist. You could safely publish at least half of those renders.
