Mandelbuld 3D v1.8.6 beta-2 test

Height Maps from Interwebs, Photoshop & Bryce.

Bryce exports 16 Bits/Channel grayscale PNG's from Terrain Editor.

wow, that 16 bit maps come out so smooth, the grain in the tree structure is amazing, it all really looks somehow
realistic, which is quite awe-some crazy stuff such 16bit heightmaps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :fiery:

Here's an old  height map I did when the feature was first introduced  (Spherical Height Map, if memory serves):

I attached the image used for a height map, it wasn't meant to be a height map, but I was playing - and I don't play by the rules!

That is pretty bad ass....love it...is there a tutorial anywhere on height maps in Mandelbulb?
