Title: WonderFractals site
Post by: KingOfOwls on February 15, 2013, 03:00:31 AM
Hello everyone.

I already included a link to my site in the "Meet and Greet" forum, but I decided I'd include it here too, as it seems a slightly more appropriate spot to include it.  Again, briefly, the site generates basic Mandelbrot Set images, but using a unique colouring tool I developed.  Visitors to the site can use the tools to add to the growing gallery of Mandelbrot Set images.  My purpose is to provide a tool to allow people to collectively build a rich, in depth and varied collection of  Mandelbrot Set images. There is also a simple, plain-English introduction to fractals on the site.

That's the last time I'll be adding this link.
Regards,
Robert

hi there, arrh, because of security reasons the java plugin has been deactivated on all my browsers, recent technology develops into using the webglsl for doing such, i dont have a link at hand right now, but there already exist awesome gpu rendering fractal rendering web sites from users here in the forums

but some question, do you use some kind of arbitrary precision library in your project ?
you might want to check out some of pauldelbrots locations in the mandelbrot set, for example
this aweseome safar center point:

check out this post for getting a 200 digits long center point to an awe-some location:

shouldn't when all components are latest version (browser, java, plugin).
