thank you, although more demanding to prepare, the recording is much more simplified because of the small parts that are then put together

thank you kali, the other voice is the director of the show, you already know him from the "gallery calender 2013 introduction" he is taking care of the script, the recording  and many other stuff, although not in the forums an active supporter of the case

lols, sometimes he pushes me into recording sessions rather than i need to push him, he seems to have fun with it ;)

Great job on this episode! I just watched through all six an it's a fun way to catch up with all of the history I've missed. I especially enjoyed the hand pushed transitions. I also found the explanation of the MandelX fractal to be particularity helpful with the way it was demonstrated showing each step with the manipulation of the grid. I've really been enjoying learning so much form everyone here, and thank you Chris and all involved with the production for taking the time to present the forum news in such a entertaining format!

I wish I could say that I am surprised by the idea that one might find fractals in minecraft
Unfortunately, or more correctly I should say that it is not a surprise at all. Given a universe
of size N^(int f) with basis lower case n and infinite space, fractal self similarity is as obvious
as an arsehole is required in any species that has a gut.

If you are surprised by the fact that although you start with "lego blocks" you can actually
still create an infinitely self similar construction, mainly by virtue of the concept of "copy &
paste" then I must state categorically that YOU ARE NOT THINKING.

Minetypecraftyness is the self similar basis for which an infinite universe becomes realizable
even to lowly non-mathematical types. And believe me, I am not trying to be disparaging here!

Artists have always seen themselves as somehow "above mathematics", and creative. And we
are truly thankful. But also, "real" art comes from a set of constraints such as those imposed
upon us as minecraft does: it sets us with a set of blocks from which to create a sound and
connected universe. By which I mean it fits within the constraints and yet exposes a sense
of the infinite in a way that until recently was only accessible to the mind, the imagination.

Thanks very much for the ability to talk briefly about my opinion, and much more thanks
for the access to software such as mandelbulb3D that opens a wider sense of what might be
inspirational geometry. As always, thanks to the original mathematicians who gave so much
in years before, and thanks to those who appreciate the wonder that mathematics can give
rise to.

 As always,
great thanks to you for providing the forum.
Michael.
