Quote Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to api.facebook.com:443 Despite its claim to have failed in some manner, the image appears to have been uploaded successfully and I was able to view it subsequently. However, the associated forum thread in the Images Showcase forum was incorrectly shown to me as "new", where normally one's own posts are automatically marked read upon creation. No other symptoms seem evident at this time. Though the observed effects seem to be cosmetic rather than functionality-impairing, this one should be afforded more priority than typical of such, as it may mislead people into thinking their gallery uploads have failed, resulting in duplicate posts of images and accompanying, avoidable storage space and bandwidth pressure.
