Title: Chaos map in old screen saver.
Post by: fractower on January 29, 2013, 04:15:04 AM
Hi All,

In the late 80s and early 90s I worked on work stations that had a chaotic map screen saver. It was a discrete map that filled out in waves of points to form filament structures with holes (kind of like a zoom of the standard map). I think it ran on sun workstations, but it may have been ported to windows as well. Does anyone recognize the program from my somewhat vague description? I would like to find the algorithm.
