A Matchmaker Julia set with one attractor of period 11. Even with only one attractor, a very convoluted Julia set can result. The first image is colored by smoothed iterations. The second is colored by phase: the number of iterations, modulo 11, to hit a target disk about a particular one of the 11 points in the attractor.

Unfortunately, the JPEG version of the first image is of less than ideal color fidelity. A 2048x1536 PNG is available upon request, as usual for most of my images.
