Wow, realy cool and wintery.
It looks like 3D solid. Is this realy made with flames?

Maybe if this would have not a black background, but some picture of dark ice as a background.

This is made using my flame renderer, but not a flame in the original sense. I created a new family of variations for my flames which add to transforms an "iterated classical fractal part" (color, position, and z-ztranslation if desited).
This makes it possible to create more interesting textures in flames. I. E. the base shape is a flame (and can be animated like a flame) and is filled with a "classical fractal".
Imagine a classical Bubble-style flame where the bubbles are filled with small Mandelbrots, this was my vision behind this. This reminds me that I wanted to create such an image...
