The arms neither converge to a single point nor to the boundary of a different basin; instead, they entangle into a chaotic mass whose highest-frequency areas show faint traces of a dendritic Julia-like shape. (The Julia is in fact disconnected, not dendritic, but the gaps are small, making it almost-dendritic. Both the Julia and the gaps will be clearer in the next image in this set.) |
