Title: Glass artist w/ connection to Benoit Post by: Sculpteur on November 16, 2012, 08:53:53 PM Hi Everyone, I'm a glass and light sculptor who creates luminous etched glass art inspired by scientific research (Synthetic Biology… a researcher friend at MIT knows Benoit and has offered to introduce me). The cover of the Peitgen book looks very similar to my work when I carve glass using very spiky sandblasting tape designs. Up to now, I've only cut and pasted fractal like images I find in nature into Photoshop compositions that I carve into glass and LED illuminate. http://portlandfineart.com/Lawrence_Morrell_pages/Lawrence_Morrell.html I'm looking for a simple Macintosh program to generate black and white fractal textures for my photo polymer process,and am a bit math challenged.
