Note that its spirals turn in going clockwise, while the ones on the brown seahorses we've been seeing all along turn in going counter-clockwise, and that it lacks a central "leaf snake" unlike those others, proving that this seahorse is independent of the others. I could have had a triple spiral or anything else here instead by choosing a different sub-bud to zoom in at, and this can be found in the normal Mandelbrot set too, except for the "leaf snakes" in the outer seahorses' cores. Our next zoom target is one of those "leaf snakes", in the middle of a brown seahorse attached to one of the golden one's scepters. Indeed, you can see that the scepters become one of its arms, and its other arms are constructed similarly. A seahorse made of scepters.
