Title: LATEX PARSER WORKING AGAIN!

it has been a long time that the latex parser has been broken, now i had the time
to repair it:

 [tex] x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}[/tex]

$x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$

Awesome!! I was just thinking about putting in some math equations earlier today and regretting the lack of LATEX. :D

lol, it was active, but since 1 year or so it was broken, i always wondered that no one complained ;)
seems to be not so much used, but veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery usefull for the stuff we discuss here!!!

Yeah. It's definitely a good thing to have around here. Still mulling over the idea I needed Latex for... be a bit.

I am delighted that the latex formulae can be rendered again!

I am using mathjax in my server. What do you use?

it is the cgi script "mimetex.cgi" i had the js parser inside as well, but this used another tag, so now all the old latexes work again :)

I'm sure I pointed out that old latex parsing was broken this year, guess nobody saw my post :-(
