This is a map projection of a sphere whose equator is the circle of radius 10 in the Spring Garden complex plane, whose south pole is zero, and whose north pole is the point at infinity. Every point of the Riemann sphere is in the image somewhere. This image took several days to calculate, most of them spent on the upper central small section of the globe because the iterations there are up into the hundred million range and the detail level there simultaneously prevents adaptive AA being of any use whatsoever. |
