Title: Project on fractals Post by: jefinjo on October 20, 2012, 10:33:03 AM hi everyone,
Myself Jefin Jo Thomas, a final year graduate student in physics. I want to do a project as part of my course this semester and i want to do it about fractals. oh, I want do do i on the applications of fractals in physics, to be clear. I have just a little knowledge about fractals. I have a basic understanding from Wikipedia and some other websites. But, I am struggling to find something extra ordinary, something attractive, for my project. so, i want someone to help me out of this problem. I want a topic for my project. Hope someone will help me. Title: Re: Project on fractals Post by: DarkBeam on October 20, 2012, 11:20:58 AM First idea; find a relationship between spamming on a forum and fractals :fiery:
Title: Re: Project on fractals Post by: jefinjo on October 20, 2012, 12:16:05 PM i am sorry for that.
i must haven't done that. but i need help to figure out my crisis. All i need is a topic for a project on fractals in physics. Hope you will help this time. Title: Re: Project on fractals Post by: DarkBeam on October 20, 2012, 12:23:35 PM Okay.
A forum is not like MSN or Facebook. You will not receive an instant feedback. :) You must patiently wait for an answer. You must not ever insist or fill the forum with requests. Instead you CAN! search the forum and the subforums for possible answers.   Tglad made some interesting reseaches back on time. For example; http://www.fractalforums.com/new-theories-and-research/relativistic-fractals/msg51182/#msg51182 Read it and try to understand it by yourself  There is a lot of other stuff. Go and find! :dink: Title: Re: Project on fractals Post by: DarkBeam on October 20, 2012, 12:28:43 PM Uh I found another one

how about Astrophysics "A method for creating planetary impact structures ( astroblems ) with a fractal base on the whole planet scale " Title: Re: Project on fractals Post by: hermann on October 31, 2012, 10:01:37 AM Kepler has found a nice solution for the two body problem. What about the 3-Body problem? Or n+1 body problem? Physics is in most cases non-lineare, so you should find more fractals in physics, then your colleagues have developed equations. Hermann |
