Awesome! ltcdata (Pablo Castaņo) is from Argentina (like me), and this video he worked on is right now being played on TV! Very nice to see 3D fractal art shown on massive media, and he did an excelent work for sure, congrats!

hahaha, great usage, fine rendering and artwork, amazin realisation and combination of clip, i wonder how they rendered it, did they use a blender skript for easy editing ?! like the one from subblue, or one of our renderers, or something whole selfmade!

Hi! Thanks for the comments!!!  :embarrass:

I explain the process (feel free to ask me anything!!!)

For the tunel and the car flying:

Mandelbulb 3d render (PNG sequence) --> Camera Tracker on After effects --> Export the camera and a few nulls into 3dsmax --> Build a Raw geometry (Tube for example matching the fractal) --> setup the scene (car, road, animation, etc) --> Render with Vray (Png Sequence with passes in exr format) --> Import the render into After --> Composit the scene in After with several plugins and techniques.

For the flying bulbs over the guys:

Mandelbulb 3d render (PNG sequence + zdepth) -->  Import the render into After --> Levels on the zdepth pass to force B&W (no grey) --> use the zdepth layer as Luma Matte to erase the background and soften the edges of the fractal --> Composit the scene in After with several plugins and techniques.

Welldone and i like the music too  ;D
I'm working on a movie feature project at the moment and i want to  integrate fractal elements inside "classic" 3D ...or , I wonder if it would be possible to import 3d meshes from Max or Maya
inside MB3d in order to create matte objects . And ....    ....export or import cameras . Anyway , for the moment i'm trying to join Jesse to have his point of view . The private message does not work ...

I'm a complete noob in the fractal world and it's really amazing !

You can't import 3D objects into M3D.

Fabulous! I expect to see a lot more videos like this. The trick is of course how to import Mandelbulbs into a 3D environment to comp it with real world footage. Well done, Greetings, Brummbaer

the more often i watch this video the more i like it, and with my new growing espanol understanding, it is making sense and is really funny text, although i havent got it 100% but love watching it !!!!

and they really make good use of the fractals .... ;)

tomaya, bib is right, u can't put regular 3d objects into MB3D, u can use voxel stack to make 3d meshes (obj) from mb3d. The only way that i find to mix fractals and MAX is use the rendered footage of the 2 softwares and comp it in after or nuke.

Feel free to ask any question that u have regarding the workflow of the video, ill do my best to answer it!!!

Pablo Castaņo.  Excellant clip, i'm new to all this but one day i hope to be as skilled enough to make video like yours. If you want check out my first fractal music video using basic mandlebulb here is the youtube link.

Great news!!! today i receive a message from a music band in Poland asking me if i want to make them a fractal video for one of there songs!!!!

I'm open for suggestions, references or crazy ideas for the video, at this moment its just an empty canvas.

Feel free to tell your fractalfriends to come and comment.

Thanks!!!!
