Title: Mandelbox radiotomography
Post by: bib on October 11, 2012, 12:09:37 AM
Just for fun I did a quick exploratory view of a scale near 1 amazing box + kalibox using the voxel export feature in Mandelbulb3D. The video is made of 3 cuts through a box, The first being a large scale view (notice that the object is asymetric along the z axis because of the kalibox hybrid), then middle scale, then small scale with some nice hypnotic effects  :alien:

Enjoy! ;D

Nice. :)   I love the shifting, morphing patterns. Another interesting way to visualize the space.  I have made some similar videos - it's like getting a free bonus when working on the voxel objects.

What if you use the amount of black/white for each pixel to produce a 2D still image?

I'd still like to see the results of the "additive" rendering i suggested! It's not that different from how actual real world X-Ray imagine works!
