as written above, i need to pre-sell 30 items before it can go into print, if 30 is not reached by end of november i will pay back the money, and the piece wont be produced ... so, press thumbs and bang the advertisement drum!

Very nice selection! I wish someday one of my works goes to the calendar, but I know there are too many good artists ahead me that deserve to be there...
At least I'm somehow present in the calendar because of the amazing surface formula  ;D

kali is for sure a candidate for the calendar, this year 2 forgotten people are inside, lenord and markjaybee that i forgot to include last year, i wanted to have darkbeam inside this year, but darkie is somehow unreachable right now and busy with other things, i believe kali will come up with tremendous renderings throughout next year, that will qualify him ;)

actualised top posting, the paypal buttons are now in charge, next to come is the promo video i have just finished and i am just looking for a way to get it online ASAP!

Yeah, It's a pitty that there were no space for one of kali's spectacular images, especially after his not indisputable second place in this years compo.  :sad1:

All in all a great profile of significant fractal art work throughout the last year.

I just want to point out one piece in this compilation. While i sometimes wasn't happy with lenord's camera treatment, "The Prize" is just perfect! It is one of the most spectacular fractal creations i've ever seen. I don't want to devalue all the other great images here, "The Prize" is just my favorite...

I'm also not a friend of public parameter sharing anymore...

The thing was that last year params made it to the calendar but not him this year he got it chance

I don't thik that I deserved a place in the calewndar this year. Spent most of my energy in a film production and besides that i didn't make any significant still frame, until I jumped off the mandelbox train. So I'm ok with that! ;D

it has been written on my tablet at 3% akku, so it was unfinished, i hope you got it on my recent post, and you have that straight color selection that i like, and your last image with the floating stuff in blue and red is really funtastic, just the calendar was done before that, and markjaybee just released another masterpiece ( on facebook only :( )

thanks taurus and lhx for the nice words, but just to make it clear, I was not complaining about not being in the Calendar, just expressing my wish but I insist there are too many awesome works by the artist on this community like the ones on this Calendar that are off course totally deserved to be there.  as ck said I will work hard to see if I can make it to the next year edition...

I live in the US and I noticed the shipping fees are pretty steep.

I was wondering if it's possible to find a company that prints calendars over here. You could send them the images and have it printed here, which would make the shipping much cheaper. Not sure how you'd work out them giving you the money for each sale, but I'm sure it's possible. Just a thought.

A weekly calendar (one page per week) will offer a room for 52+1 images, but this will make it more expensive, I'm afraid.

  It might be a bit late for this years calendar printing, but I emailed one of my father's friends who is in the publishing business (Bored Feet Press) (http://boredfeet.com/) to ask him about calendar printing.

His (2nd- first reply was to tell me he would check it out) reply (snipped to remove email and phone):

  He gave me Marcy Matthew's phone number and email at Lawton Printers (http://www.lawtonprinters.com/lawtonwelcome.html) if we need to explore other printing options, of if you (the forum, and our venerable captain, Trifox  <-- old name... very venerable) think it's a good idea to check out a few more printers.

Can't afford to buy one myself, but have posted a blog entry on the two fractal groups I admin on deviantArt. Hopefully this might grab you a few sales!

I don't know if its the best place to say this, and don't take it wrong : I don't see the point of having a calendar (with the dates and everything). That's why I won't buy this product.
An A4 (~30cmx20cm) fractal book of 15/20 pages would be awesome ! Or A3 (but that would be very expensive and hard to ship..)
Nice fractals for this year anyway!

the calendar is the transport mechanism, to have a reason, an annual book of art is as well nice, for sure, but you receive dina3 seized big
prints, you can cut off the calendar part, and reuse the image, printing each image alone would go easy above 30 euro, so, on the first
side you support this forums by buying this high prize item, on the other hand you get 13 dina3 poster to be reused by yourself for anything you like

I love Lenord’s work, but the rest of you should go your own way, because Lenord has all the cool & creepy stuff covered. Where are the beautiful colors and wonderful designs? Sorry if I offended any artists, but it is your choice to lead, follow or get the F out of the way!
