Title: Fractal Screensaver
Post by: ninjarcane on January 12, 2009, 09:23:56 AM
I am looking for a nice free fractal screen saver. All the ones I have found only 'explore' a particular fractal for a few seconds and then changes to a new one or recycles. I would love to have one that just keeps going into the same fractal for a while (even if it is a large program file). I figured that the folks here would be the best help! If any one has a good one that they would like to share or can provide a link i would grateful:) Fractals are beautiful and amazing.

Ninja,

I make HD fractal screen savers that are for sale.  What I do give away are on my downloads page at:

www.allfractup.com/Downloads.html

Those are samples that run indefinitely showing the same few fractals until you tap a key or manipulate your pointing device.  They're sorta on the big side around 12 to 29 megs each.  I do not remember their individual file size.  Are you a windows user?  All of my software products were made using Windows.  They aren't particularly demanding...anything equal to or better than a P200, 128 MBs RAM, XGA video, CD-ROM drive will do the trick.  A slower machine might even do the trick but what I described is my slowest computer.

I hope that helps,
