Title: De-combinate Post by: CeleXaoS on August 29, 2012, 04:47:09 PM I recently started exploring the De-combinate function and although i have read through the explanations provided in M3d
'Read-me' file i couldn't figure out how it works and what is different in comparison to the alternating mode. and needles to say im having trouble with the Min,max, inv max,etc options. ( Mix1 and Mix 2 are quite understandable ^-^) -------also i was wondering about the possibility of integrating a heightmap , board IFS (and any other formula that serves as terrain) to another dIFS object . For example i have rendered a cylinder and distorted it until it looks like a table , and now i want to adjust the size of 'board IFS' to properly fit on the top in order to resemble a chessboard .Is the size of these formulas adjustable ? (because it seems that they are exclusively created to serve as the surrounding terrain ) and if it isn't is there a way to render the chessboard image using DE-combinate ?? Sockratease and cKleinhuis helped me a while ago with a similar subject but i would like some additional information. Thanks to everyone willing to answer.
