Title: nelamurire (unstanding) Post by: hgjf2 on August 12, 2012, 07:20:55 AM I yet don't stand how the FRACTALFORUMS posting engine, put the certain images files with extension JPG_THUMB and GIF_THUMB and not as JPG and GIF.
The extensions JPG_THUMB and GIF_THUMB can be unsupported by WINDOWS and are not recognized as file extension :hmh: Title: Re: nelamurire (unstanding) Post by: cKleinhuis on August 12, 2012, 11:43:56 AM ??? what seems to be the problem here ??!

Title: Re: nelamurire (unstanding) Post by: taurus on August 12, 2012, 08:19:55 PM Never heard of a thumb suffix. . . and i also didn't see such a suffix :hmh: thumbs are usually "thumb_xxxx_xx_xx_xx_x_x_xx.jpeg" where x is a digit (0-9) images are simply "xxxx_xx_xx_xx_x_x_xx.jpeg" so where did you see? Title: Re: nelamurire (unstanding) Post by: cKleinhuis on August 12, 2012, 08:22:51 PM it is a common way to identify file types by suffix, some smarter programs do it by head checking of file, BUT if the suffix is corrupted somehow with a "_thumb" added, it might lead to that a program of whatever sort may guess the file type wrong, but i dont see how this relates to the forums....
