Wow!! you are getting some great images from jWildfire.
I'd really like to animate some of these but I'm not sure if Apo would handle the params.

I'm no good at making images and consequently my animations are just so-so.  I tend to just use random flames with very little tweaking.
Lazy I guess, but my main excuse is that "I am not an artist".
That's always been true.  I've always reacted to the word "art" the way a lot of people typically react to the word "math".

Digressions aside, I've been watching jWildfire progress since you started posting here.
JWildfire could conceivably become the new favored flame generator.  Maybe even soon.
It seems that Apo development has been at least temporarily left to fallow.
And your examples from jWildfire are demonstrating all kinds of great stuff I've never seen in Apo.

Thank you very much :-)

If you would like to tweak/animate some of my flame files just please send me a personal note with the names, it would be a please to send you the parameters. In case of the "Inductor" you can find them already at deviantArt: http://thargor6.deviantart.com/#/d5auuyz (http://thargor6.deviantart.com/#/d5auuyz)

Best regards

And thank you for your most generous offer!
Unfortunately my eyes are much bigger than my timepiece.
Or in other words, I'd love to try animating some of those but "real life" is a roller coaster at this point and I shouldn't allow myself to get sidetracked from more vital concerns.
So I really shouldn't have asked in the first place.
If I get a chance I may try to have a go with some parameters you've posted to DA.
If I do that I'll make sure to let you know what I'm up to.
I would not upload any derivations of your work without letting you know, one way or the other.
Thanks again and I hope your work with jWildfire moves ahead smoothly.
:)

No problem, I really understand. I'm also an always busy man - this fractal stuff is just a hobby which takes place "after" family and job etc. So I'm the first who understands that there are always 1000 things to do at the same time and only one to pick :-)

Thank you also,
Andreas
