Creating these fractals has only recently been practical to do. Many of the pictures in the gallery required 2 or more days (48 hours) to complete. Computers 15 or more years ago would have needed years of time to generate one of the pictures in the gallery! The 64 bit processor/code, now finally supported by Windows, accelerates the integer arithmetic my program uses by 2-8x compared to the 32-bit version. Nonetheless the images in the gallery consumed over 2 years of time between two 3GHz 64-bit processors. I'm pleased with these galleries, however creating them was tedious work.
