Title: Interpolation button tweak - dare I even ask?
Post by: kameelian on July 29, 2012, 11:12:28 AM
Hi Jesse

I'm liking the new version of the anim keyframe interpolation button - where it allows you to home in on the exact frame number to interpolate, whilst
maintaining the correct number in the sequence by changing the number of subframes in the preceding keyframe. Very useful.

However, there are times when 'a': I actually want to expand the number of subframes not keep them the same...(for smoother anim) or 'b': I might remove an
interpolated frame or add an extra one, but forget that the now reduced subframes are still preceding...

So I was wondering if it is simple enough to add, for example, a right-click option to the interpolation button - where it does not reduce/alter the number of preceding subframes
to suit the number you enter in the box and/or maintains the number selected in the 'subframes to render,' like it does when you 'insert' keyframes in between.

I know this is not a major issue - the figures can be added manually anyway - but with the numbers changing automatically, it can be difficult to keep track of which have changed
and by how much.

...if it is possible?

regards
Kam
