Title: Too much nested child boards Post by: PhotoComix on June 25, 2012, 02:37:50 AM Obviously we all love labyrinths, but i didn't appreciated much the new 4 child boards for Mandelbulb 3D (that btw is 1 of the child boards of "Mandelbulb Software", but here note that "Mandelbulb Software" is also 1 of the child board of "3D Fractal"...)
they make more painful to navigate and in the case of M3D were no so much posts in that boards to require such complication more there is a bug somewhere so in the main index you can NOT see new posts if are posted on a child board ... so you are forced to open each board to check. I was even tempted to joke proposing some more child boards (why only "beta testing"?... what about "pre-alpha and alpha testing"? and why only "Releases" ? would be no better " New Releases" ," Old Releases" and to be safe also "Other Releases"...) but then i was terrified to the possibility to be taken seriously and to see the proposal accepted and so to see 4 or more new nested child board for any board Anyway would be no better instead then spit more and more to merge similar boards ? Say gestaltupe are in different section, and mandelbulb 3D and mandelbulber are in another. Some subsubsubforums are so deep, that they don't get atention. I alsou think, some not much watched subforums would never got any attention, becouse they are not watched. |
