Title: old school ray tracing Post by: taurus on June 23, 2012, 11:57:37 AM old school ray tracing (http://nocache-nocookies.digitalgott.com/gallery/11/4392_23_06_12_11_57_37.jpeg) http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=11910 i didn't touch theese meshes for more than three years. they were heavy for the 32bit system back then. about 2 million polygon for the quat. it was made with a more than ten years old version of fractal zplot in a pattern of fn1(z)-c*fn2(z), while fn could br something like sin sqr log ceil and so on. rendering in cinema 4d 11.5 i think every future rendering method needs to match this image quality... still love it! have fun! |
