Title: Generating Terrains from 2D-Fractals in yFract
Post by: yv3 on June 04, 2012, 10:17:51 PM
Hello to everyone,
i am extending my fractal renderer yFract (http://yv3.bplaced.net) so i can render a terrain from the current fractal or an given image file. Optionally a heightmap-file can be created and chosen. Even its in a early state it is very exciting to explore this feature. Here are some sample images:

You can try this feature in the next release. Stay tuned.
