the fractal interpretation of a star trek theme.

it's more or less a demo image about the new individual layer export of mandelbulber v 1.12

the initial ifs parameter is taken from http://ectoplaz.deviantart.com/art/Construct-268058906 (http://ectoplaz.deviantart.com/art/Construct-268058906) by Ectoplaz. the background is a mix of nasa imagery and an old flame of mine.

 I think you needed a lot of time to setup this image. Final effect is perfect

thanks buddhi, glad you like it! ;D

it wasn't that complicated as it might look. the only trick is, to set up the lights in a seperate fract file. the advantage is, that you don't need to take care of camera positions or angles. after positioning the lights, i just copy/paste them with a text editor to the main scene - thats it. :dink:

the glowing blue lines are a product of playing around with layer modi in post production.
