I've opened the 3rd in photoshop and added the 1st two times, first with blending mode color, then with saturation, to keep the contrast while still having the brown colors. This is the result:

I'd still make a wee bit lighter overall, but i haven't properly calibrated my monitor, so that could be an issue on my side :)
Title: Re: Blend shading Post by: Dinkydau on April 18, 2012, 03:46:19 PM I was considering that, also to reduce the effect of the color overlay a little bit and keep something of the original colors in the fractal. Instead I've added a darken layer and more brightness.
