Title: Quaternion Mandelbrot
Post by: JosLeys on April 04, 2012, 12:51:17 PM
The quaternion Mandelbrot normally looks pretty dull due to the cylindrical symmetry.
However, and I don't know if anyone tried this before, if we give it a rotation of 180° in the xy plane in 4D, it gets more interesting

Syntopia's recipe is similar if I remember right (but not equal, you made it different)

Yep, I just chose another rotation plane - here is my variant: http://www.flickr.com/photos/syntopia/5425626649/in/photostream/
