is meant for supporting the forums, and i now have the need to make some aquirements, that i could need some help.... right now my bank account is closed, and so i have severe problems financing stuff ... 1st server update ... a server update for hosting of unlimited webspace, and higher memory and concurrent threads would double the hosting costs, ad-income is now at 30/month and hosting costs would be 30/month, so this should make it, but as you know i have payed the last 5 years for the hosting, and i wont upgrade the server until mid of the year, because i just want to build up some resources ... i have an offer for 3 month free for hosting ... but nonetheless this is one post that has to be made sure off 2nd regarding the upcomming tv show i would need some hardware ... * a microphone ~30 should be sufficent * a full hd webcam with 25fps ~80 should be sufficent * lighting set up ~dunno how much this would cost .. so, i hereby invite you to show your commitmend to the forums be droping some coins at the paypal "DONATE" button ... there wont be any specials that i can offer by now for people who paid, but be sure you will have a place deep in my heart ;) the paypal email is: donate -------------- at ----------------------- fractalforums.com Title: Re: Fractalforums Donate Button - and for what it will be used! it would be great to have some payouts right this year for people contributing to the calendar 2013, and to have some funds to fund the annual compo coffe cups ... Post by: jehovajah on April 26, 2012, 03:26:30 AM suppose you do not have a pay pal account, or it is not the way you want to pay. Is there any other set up? I think you would be wise to set up a receipt system to the members messages folder, and for those outside of the membership who want o donate, some kind of confirmation of receipt. I am grateful to you for maintaining the site, and as you say you need all kinds of help now including financial.
