Title: Re: Julia in julia Post by: Dinkydau on March 24, 2012, 05:03:31 PM Zoom level is 2^127
Here are the coordinates as well: Re: -1.860,214,045,738,613,858,390,978,035,955,811,413,330,39 Im: -0.000,000,000,186,855,934,324,201,337,689,048,074,631,06 By exploring the mandelbrot set, I've found that the deeper you go, the more dense the julia sets are. I've found that by zooming past minibrots, there is this pattern: 1: minibrot By passing the minibrot and continuing zooming, you'll find: 2: julia sets, then minibrot surrounded by julia sets After that: 3: julia sets, then julia sets surrounded by julia sets, then minibrot surrounded by julia sets surrounded by julia sets And then: 4: julia sets, then julia sets surrounded by julia sets, then julia sets surrounded by julia sets surrounded by julia sets, then minibrot surrounded by julia sets surrounded by julia sets surrounded by julia sets And so on probably This julia set is surrounded by julia sets, rendered at 16000×12000, shrunk to 1600×1200 on deviantart, downloadable at 4000×3000 for more details. I know this is way more information than you asked for. :p Title: Re: Julia in julia Post by: yv3 on March 24, 2012, 08:28:56 PM nice one!
Title: Re: Julia in julia Post by: Dinkydau on March 25, 2012, 12:10:18 AM thanks!
Title: Re: Julia in julia Post by: Pauldelbrot on March 25, 2012, 04:44:27 AM Wow!
How long did this take to render? Looks like you went for the big minibrot, then shallow elephant valley on the axis to another minibrot, then shallow seahorse valley on a filament to another minibrot, then shallow seahorse valley on a filament to the image you posted. And used 10x10 AA. :thumbsup1: Title: Re: Julia in julia Post by: cKleinhuis on March 25, 2012, 05:17:47 AM lol, pauldel you are the deepest expert ... surely you will be featured in one of the upcoming tv-shows ;)
Title: Re: Julia in julia Post by: Pauldelbrot on March 25, 2012, 06:06:15 AM Thanks ... I think. :)
Title: Re: Julia in julia Post by: Dinkydau on March 25, 2012, 12:08:32 PM It took 10,5 hours to render. |
