Title: My Mandelbulb 3D renders Post by: rahulmukerji on March 17, 2012, 07:56:17 AM Hi :
This is my second render using Mandelbulb 3D. I thought the colors came out pretty nicely in this one. I'm still learning how to use the software effectively. Music composed by me :) Enjoy ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cWze4Dh-Ro Title: Re: My Mandelbulb 3D renders Post by: msltoe on March 25, 2012, 05:16:06 PM Inspiring!
The colors are excellent. The frame rate and camera motions are good making the scenery seem like it's real. The music sounds like stuff for video/flash games. You should look into that avenue, as there's lots of revenue in that area. Title: Re: My Mandelbulb 3D renders Post by: rahulmukerji on March 28, 2012, 02:50:44 AM Thanks msltoe !! Hmmmm ... I should look into that. I wonder if they have some website where you can submit your music to see if it makes the cut. Google time !! ;D
In the meantime, I have a new render :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDkRWj5JsX4 Title: Re: My Mandelbulb 3D renders Post by: Fractacular on March 29, 2012, 07:50:57 PM Hi : This is my second render using Mandelbulb 3D. I'm just playing around with the default settings with some small tweaks.

played a little guitar and added a tabla for an interesting feel O0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhefrlzdGYQ Title: Re: My Mandelbulb 3D renders Post by: Fractacular on April 03, 2012, 03:01:29 AM Another nice one...nice guitar work too!
Why does the fractal disappear as you zoom in? Title: Re: My Mandelbulb 3D renders Post by: rahulmukerji on April 03, 2012, 03:11:59 AM Thanks Fractint Class of 95 for the compliments !
I have no idea why the fractal disappears as I zoom, but I thought it was really cool how that happened. So I put up my fractals and images, for Washington DC's largest Art Fest: Artomatic 2012 :) I put up a small TV with my animations ... so far I've got some good reactions from artists. Lets see once the event opens what the feedback is (http://www.mukerji.us/zip/artomatic/x.jpg) (http://www.mukerji.us/zip/artomatic/y.jpg) Title: Re: My Mandelbulb 3D renders Post by: rahulmukerji on May 28, 2012, 04:15:28 AM New render ...

I created 2 new fractals and used 2 fractals I'd already created earlier. Man, rendering fractals for 10 min video is crazy. Rendering fractals for a 3 min video generally takes me 10 days. I had to pull in all my resources and borrow laptops to help render all the fractals on time. :embarrass: If you like it, please leave a comment on my YT page O0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=M0GYpV160Do Title: Re: My Mandelbulb 3D renders Post by: rahulmukerji on June 24, 2012, 12:10:08 AM New render day
