Title: 1.7.9 question Post by: Weber on March 11, 2012, 10:40:42 PM So I'm new here as you have figured out and the latest version is my first. This is also my very first 3d fractal software. Anyway I'm working on a nice video and I was wondering how to increase the draw distance? What setting is it? For example in my animation, I will come around a bend and the background will slowly appear and it looks very choppy. Is there anyway to increase the draw so it's already there? I notice a lot of other videos that seem to not have this problem and the geometry is already loaded. And in case some of you may ask, my system is as follows:
Windows 7 Pro x64 Intel Core i7 870 8GB ram nVidia GTX 260 Title: Re: 1.7.9 question Post by: MindsEye on March 12, 2012, 12:58:34 AM If I understand what you are asking I think you want the Far Plane setting that is available in the little pop-down menu that is part of the NAV. You access this menu by the little dark grey arrows on the bottom right of the nav.

Title: Re: 1.7.9 question Post by: Weber on March 12, 2012, 08:58:25 PM Thanks for the help guys. I did already have far plane set to 100. How much higher can I go on this setting? And I will have to adjust the fog a bit more to see what happens.
