Title: Contrast
Post by: fractalwizz on June 02, 2008, 01:47:36 AM
I wasn't sure where this would go in the forum
does anyone know a lightweight program that can change contrast and color depth in a video that runs without install?

VirtualDub.

Free and open source.  I think it's at soureforge.net, but a Yahoo search will find it fast!  So will a search at ask.com or even lycos!

But NOT google.

OK, maybe google.

It's just that everyone uses their name like a pronoun for "search engine" - and it bothers me.  I don't even like google!!  I will Never use them except to check their "ranking" for websites I work with.

Anyway...

There is a free "plug in" for VirtualDub which does HSV and Brightness / Contrast adjustments to avi files or image sequences.

There is a variant on VirtualDub which can handle mpg and wmv files, but who uses them?

I hope that helps.
