Title: Aztec minibrot
Post by: Eric Bazan on February 26, 2012, 09:36:48 PM
Rendering additional mini brots (islands as I call them) for my gallery. zzzZZzzz. The process is glacial.

Here's a partially completed one:

Hi, just wondering what software you use to generate these?

Simon

I wrote the software myself. First version was created about 11 years ago now. Close to a year ago I ported to 64-bit, which greatly improved the programs performance. It's a relatively primitive program, and I'm not planning on sharing it anytime soon. It does give the images I create a slightly unique look

Much more time is spent looking for these fractals than coding, however.

Appreciate the compliment.
