Welcome. Fractint was my first fractalprogram too...and for me also very difficult ! My favorite program is Fractal Explorer, but there is a lot more fractalsoftware now you can use without any knowlegde of math. Title: Re: Hi from England! If all fractal generators required a deep understanding of the math involved, the world would be a sadder place! I enjoy Chaoscope, Chaos Pro, and Mutatorkammer (written by the Administrator of this forum!) for windows. Fractalworks is very nice if you run on the mac operating system. Endlos is fun and written in java, so it works on all operating systems! There are more, but those are the ones that came to mind quickly. I hope to see some of your own art posted here!
