I don't have any particular tip. All I can say is that I use MB3D on Ubuntu 11 (Unity) with Wine and it works fine. But I prefer using it on my W7 box because the box is more powerful and because I still find Linux too obscure with all these command lines. Come on Linux people, welcome to the 21st century. Why anytime you want to do something more advanced in Linux you have to write command lines?...Linux is great for true geeks, not for the average PC user like me :D

So you are just going to try it and havn't yet?

I was a little surprised how well it worked on Ubuntu 11.04, that i run from usb-stick!
Ok, i tested not all program features... the only issue i saw is the somewhat slow repainting of the program windows and they don't come to front if you click the buttons for lighting, formulas etc.  But they are selectable in the ubuntu taskbar for bringing them up.

But this was in 32 bit Ubuntu, if you encounter problems, just tell...
