Title: Don’t Store That in a Float
Post by: ker2x on February 06, 2012, 07:48:47 PM
Not strictly fractal related (but important when you're doing numerical stuff like us).

*practical* implication of float (im)precision. Nothing new here, but the examples are very good.

Precision is always relative, never absolute - so no, float is very precise for most applications and a precise number simply do not exists :alien:
