Title: Nautilius (a question about shape)
Post by: MindsEye on January 31, 2012, 04:27:53 PM
Is it possible to create a Nautilus Shell (which is a natural fractal a.k.a. Phi Spiral) with Mandelbulb 3d current set of formulae?
If not would it be crass of me to ask for such a formula in MB3D format.. I am hopeless with such things, but the mathematical formula can be found here:

Thanks in advance for any help!

I love spirals but - like all polar shapes - it requires extra work in coordinate switching. :)

I am planning something ... But I should study in this period. Wait ... :-\
