I just thought this idea was so obvious that it had to be done! It likely has already been done, but so what. This is a fresh set! So far I have 4. A standard, a "working in background", a "busy", and a "hand" or "link hover" version. But... I'm having trouble finding a good way to share them! I can't host them on tripod or photobucket. The extensions .cur, .ani, and even .zip are disallowed here. Anyone have any suggestions for remote hosts for such files? I'm going to cut the Mandelbrot set up in an image editor so it forms a question mark for the help cursor. I'd be curious if anyone has design ideas for the resize and other cursors needed to make this a complete set! This is a fun little distraction from the regular Fractal Play! And it will enhance it when I start using these pointers with Fractal Generators... If you want to show example images of the available downloads, then you can create an HTML file with all of the included images and links, and I can put them on a spot from my site. I'll post some screenshots later today. I designed the resize and text select cursors for the set and will be working on them today as well. Thanks for your generosity! I ran into more problems trying to post these files someplace than I expected! 2 Different free web hosts blocked the remote downloads! The third one (see above links) works for downloading if you wish a preview. The set should be finished soon. I'm using it as is already and must say...
