Redesign of Breed Window Undo History Tree View Added to BreedWindow Added more Image Resolutions ( until ImageProperty Editor is build in...) Better Memory Handling when using Oversampling Max Frames of an animation can now be changed. Some Formula modifications ( ABS(VEC) now returns a real value ) Adjustment of Palette Window, now there is a map for Alpha/Color and Height, the Height information will late be used to plot displacement mappings Library Window Threaded - so loading of large library files does not hang ;D ;D some example images made with that version http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/54280608/ (http://tn3-1.deviantart.com/fs11/300W/f/2007/119/d/9/Quartic_by_trifox77.jpg) http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/54279688/ (http://tn3-1.deviantart.com/fs11/300W/f/2007/119/a/8/Ball_Strings_by_trifox77.png) and an image from x-seraphim http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/54273006/ (http://tn3-2.deviantart.com/fs11/300W/f/2007/119/d/1/Vortex_by_x_seraphin.jpg) the funny thing about the images is, they are too complex to be crunched with jpg or png, i have to use 500kb for each of these images, to keep quality i think i should now begin to implement a box counting feature to the program, so that formulas can be judged by fractal dimension ... ;) Title: Re: Mutatorkammer 0.65 Post by: Nahee_Enterprises on April 30, 2007, 10:22:13 PM Christian Kleinhuis (Trifox) wrote:

I just downloaded Ver.0.651 and will give it a try later on tonight and during the week. If I get some really interesting images, I will make them available for viewing. Thanks for this update and the download!! :) Title: Re: Mutatorkammer 0.65 Post by: Sockratease on May 01, 2007, 12:44:42 AM I got this Trilobite looking image right away with the new version!
I couldn't pick a color palette... So here's 2 with a custom stripey Pink .map file (I modified a "j-stripe" map file if anyone wants a pink one to add to their collection!) and one with an Apophysis palette: (http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m278/sockratease/trilobyte.jpg) Big - http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m278/sockratease/trilobyte.png (http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m278/sockratease/trilobyte2.jpg) Big - http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m278/sockratease/trilobyte2.png (http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m278/sockratease/trilobyte3.jpg) Big - http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m278/sockratease/trilobyte3.png I'm always fascinated when fractals are so reminiscent of things in nature. I see a trilobite in that rather distinctly. Can't wait to play with the new Unlimited Length Animation Feature! I think I need a bigger hard drive!!
