Title: Greetings from Web2K aka John Bailey
Post by: web2k on October 14, 2006, 01:21:30 AM
Hello Everyone,

This new forum looks like a good thing.  I have been monitoring and commenting on sci.fractals since March 1995.  Lately it has been getting a bit stale.  This forum seems to be getting the attention and action it deserves.  Great!

To introduce myself, I revised the gateway to the sci.fractals directory on http://home.rochester.rr.com/jbxroads/interests/sci.fractals/ so that each entry is explained a bit.

My thing isn't artistic graphics. I admire great graphics but my interest is in exploring the nooks and crannies for novel approaches and haiku like code to produce unusual fractals.

I hope that the results of that interest will trigger some productive discussions here.  Let me know if anything tickles your fancy.

Hey there, John, and welcome to the group !!   Glad to see you joining and posting here.  And I know what you mean about the UseNet groups.  Not too much has been going on there these days.

Looking forward to your input into the various explorations you are well known for.     :)
